Amsterdam Art is looking for interns
We are excited to announce that we are looking for two interns to join our team starting January 2024! If you are enthusiastic about contemporary art, fluent in Dutch, possess excellent English language skills, and interested in an internship within the Amsterdam Art world, then read on to find out more about these opportunities and apply!
Starting in January 2024, we are providing two internship opportunities within our creative and close-knit team. Gain insight into all aspects of organising a large scale multi-day art event, with a network of 50+ contemporary art institutions in Amsterdam.
Both internships are for a minimum of 4 months, 4 days a week, with the possibility of extension for participation in Amsterdam Art Week (29 May – 2 June 2024). You will receive a monthly reimbursement of €350. Further details on each internship can be found below.
Marketing & Communications internship
Are you a Dutch speaking person with a good command of the English language, a creative writing style, well-versed in social media, excellent written and oral communication skills, and knowledgeable about building online communities? Do you thrive in a festival's dynamic pace, where activities intensify leading up to the event? Then this internship is for you!
You'll play a crucial role in shaping content across our socials, website, newsletters, and more. While primarily focused on executing our plans, we highly value your creative input. You will be assisting the person in charge of Marketing & Communications initially, and later you will be working together with the Marketing & PR Strategist and the rest of our dynamic team.

Programme & Production internship
Are you a Dutch speaking person with a good command of the English language and do you have excellent written and oral communication skills? Are you ambitious, with strong organisational skills, and do you have a hands-on mentality? Do you thrive in a festival dynamic where the pace increases as the event approaches, taking on tasks proactively and enjoy multitasking? Then this internship is for you!
In this versatile role, you will assist in organising various programmes, supporting the Programme, Partnerships & Production employee in carrying out a wide range of event-specific tasks e.g.: creating the international visitors' programmes, supervising volunteers and organising a wide range of events.
