Aftellen naar ADCN Awards met Chiara Riberti

Nog drie dagen tot de uitreiking van de ADCN Awards! Twaalf jury's, elk met een eigen talent seat, beslissen wie er die avond met een Lamp naar huis gaan. In aanloop naar het moment suprême, geven we telkens het woord aan één van deze jonge stemmen. Deze keer: Chiara Riberti, Motion Designer bij Wolfstreet en onderdeel van de jury Animation & Motion Design, Art Direction, Illustration & Typography, Production Design, Visual Effects.

Why are the ADCN Awards important for young creative talent?
"It’s more than a chance to show your work, it’s a moment to show your voice. To say: 'This is what I believe great creativity looks like.'
It’s an event that brings young creatives into the conversation, to contribute, to stay sharp, and to stay relevant in the industry. It’s a chance for fresh talent to step up, build a network, learn from others, and get insight into how experienced creatives navigate the field.
At the same time, it offers established agencies a glimpse into how the next generation approaches creative work. For me personally, it was a moment to reflect on how I can take my work further and to ask myself, 'What’s my next step?'"

What does it mean to you to be in the talent seat of the jury panel?
"It’s a real privilege, not just to judge the top creative work in the country, but to sit shoulder to shoulder with some of the most respected creatives in the industry. You get a rare sneak peak inside how people think, dissect and decide. It's like being in someone’s creative brain for a moment and that’s gold.
Sure, at first it’s intimidating. These are the people I’ve looked up to since I first stepped into the industry as a humble motion designer from Italy. But once the judging started, it was clear: great work brings everyone to the same level.
Each person brought their own special and unique point of view; you could almost touch the excitement in the room. We spent hours talking about these amazing projects. There was genuine dialogue, mutual respect, and a shared passion for craft."
