Bizarre commercial levert Kanye West miljoenen op
Tijdens de Super Bowl, kwam rapper Kanye West met een wel heel opvallende commercial voor zijn kledingmerk Yeezy.
Afgelopen zondag promootte Kanye West zijn kledinglijn Yeezy met een commercial van 30 seconden. In de reclame, die hij opnam met zijn telefoon vanuit een auto, vertelt West: “Hey y’all, this is Ye, and this is my commercial. And since we spent all the money on the commercial spot, we actually – we didn’t spend any money on the actual commercial. But the idea is I want you to go to Yeezy.com.”
Riskante zet
West heeft naar verluidt 7 miljoen euro betaald om de commercial uit te mogen zenden. Ongeacht dit absurde bedrag, lijkt de rapper wel te profiteren van zijn opvallende commercial: zijn nieuwste album kwam op nummer één te staan in honderd landen en hij maakte 19,3 miljoen dollar omzet met zijn clip.
