Tweevoudig Wimbledon-winnaar Andy Murray gaat elektrisch rijden op Wereldmilieudag en wordt één van de eerste klanten voor de Jaguar I-PACE.
Andy Murray: "It's important we all take small steps to live a more sustainable life and think about the actions we can make to look after our planet. This is one of the reasons I'm making the switch to driving Jaguar's new all-electric I-PACE. It's clean and safe, but also has the world class design and sports performance that suits my lifestyle."

De Jaguar I-PACE is een elektrisch voertuig waarvan de batterij in vijfenveertig minuten tot tachtig procent worden opgeladen. De actieradius bedraagt 480 kilometer. De I-PACE staat garant voor duurzame sportautoprestaties, de nieuwste generatie kunstmatige intelligentie (AI) en de functionaliteit van een vijfpersoons SUV.

Om de overstap naar de elektrische performance-SUV te steunen, bracht Panasonic Jaguar Racing-coureur en WWF-ambassadeur Nelson Piquet Jr. een bezoek aan het trainingskamp van Andy Murray, voor een speciale overhandiging voorafgaande aan het grasseizoen.
Nelson Piquet Jr: "I think it's brilliant that Andy has made this commitment to go electric and has been vocal in encouraging more people to take action and make little changes to live more sustainably. The Jaguar I-PACE is proof that you don't have to sacrifice power or performance when you switch to electric."
